Terms & Conditions of Service
Effective Date: September 2026 | Cabio24 Executive Transport Ltd (UK)
1. Contract & Operating Model
These terms and conditions govern all transport bookings accepted by Cabio24 ("the Company"). As an authorized UK Private Hire Vehicle (PHV) operator, all contracts for passenger transport are entered directly between the passenger and the Company. Sub-contracted or fleet drivers act under operator authorization. A contract becomes legally binding only upon written booking confirmation dispatched via SMS, Email, or System Notification.
2. Airport Transfers, Flight Tracking & Delays
Flight arrivals are monitored using live radar systems based on the flight number provided during booking. Passengers must ensure accurate flight numbers and scheduled landing times are submitted.
- Flight Rescheduling / Cancellations: Passengers must notify dispatch at least 3 hours prior to scheduled landing time of flight changes. If notified 3+ hours in advance, pickups will be rescheduled free of surcharge subject to fleet availability.
- Dispatched Drivers: If a flight is cancelled or delayed after a driver has already been dispatched to the airport terminal, the full booking fare shall remain payable and non-refundable.
3. Complementary Waiting Period, Tolls & Surcharges
Complementary waiting periods apply from the scheduled pickup or actual flight landing time:
- Airport Pickups: Up to 45 minutes of complementary waiting time included.
- Standard / Residential Pickups: Up to 15 minutes of complementary waiting time included.
Upon expiry of the grace period, additional waiting time is automatically calculated and charged at £0.50 per minute (£30.00/hour). Unless specifically itemized in fixed quotes, all statutory airport terminal drop-off fees, barrier parking fees, London Congestion Charges, ULEZ, LEZ, and road toll charges are strictly payable by the passenger.
4. Cancellation & Refund Terms
Cancellations must be communicated directly via the self-service portal, official email, or telephone hotline:
- Notice > 12 Hours prior to pickup: Eligible for 100% refund, subject to a 3% merchant gateway processing fee.
- Notice between 2 Hours and 12 Hours prior to pickup: Subject to a 50% administrative cancellation charge.
- Notice < 2 Hours prior to pickup: Strictly non-refundable. 100% of full fare is retained.
5. Passenger No-Show Policy
If a passenger cannot be contacted by driver or dispatch within 45 minutes of scheduled pickup time (60 minutes at airport arrivals), the journey will be classified as a "No-Show". Drivers will be released from the assignment, and 100% of the total fare will be charged without refund.
6. Customer Data Accuracy & Re-routing
The passenger is solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of pick-up locations, postcodes, drop-off addresses, passenger counts, and luggage quantities. The Company bears no financial or operational liability for missed connections, delays, or extra costs resulting from erroneous customer input. Any additional stops, vias, or route deviations requested during transit will be billed according to standard extra-mileage rates.
7. Luggage Allowance & Vehicle Capacity
Luggage must fit safely within the vehicle trunk space without compromising driver visibility or passenger safety in compliance with UK licensing laws. Drivers reserve the right to decline carriage of excess baggage or passengers exceeding published vehicle capacities without refund.
8. Fleet Substitution & Partner Operators
The Company reserves the right to substitute vehicles with an equivalent or upgraded category, or subcontract duties to fully vetted and licensed Private Hire partner operators to guarantee service continuity and punctuality.
9. Damage, Soiling & Fouling Liability
Passengers are strictly responsible for any physical damage or internal soiling/spillage caused to the vehicle during transit. A minimum compulsory detailing fee of £150.00 will be automatically charged to cover professional valet cleaning and driver loss of earnings due to vehicle downtime.
10. Passenger Conduct & Zero Tolerance
Smoking, vaping, consumption of alcohol/substances, or abusive, threatening, or unruly behavior toward drivers or operational staff is strictly prohibited. Drivers retain absolute authority to terminate the contract and eject passengers immediately without refund in case of non-compliance or safety hazards.
11. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure
While the Company makes every reasonable endeavor to guarantee on-time service, we accept zero financial liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including but not limited to missed flight departures, train connections, missed business meetings, hotel bookings, or event admissions) resulting from severe traffic congestion, road closures, adverse weather conditions, vehicle breakdowns, acts of God, or police instructions.
12. Child Restraints
Under UK legislation (Regulation 102 of the Road Vehicles Construction and Use Regulations), licensed taxis and private hire vehicles are legally exempt from compulsory child seat requirements if unavailable. Where child seats are requested and supplied, parents or legal guardians remain exclusively responsible for ensuring correct installation and child restraint.
13. Property Left in Vehicles
The Company assumes no liability for personal property left inside vehicles. Recovered items will be surrendered to local licensing authorities or returned to the customer at the customer's sole expense.
14. Unfair Chargebacks & Payment Recovery
In the event of an unjustified or fraudulent credit card chargeback, the customer agrees to reimburse the Company for the full booking amount, alongside a £50.00 administrative fee and any legal costs incurred during debt recovery.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. All disputes arising from or in connection with services provided shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England & Wales.
